NTU-BFT Scholarly Mobility Grant

National Taiwan University jointly collaborates with Bureau Français de Taipei (BFT) to launch NTU-BFT Scholarly Mobility Grant for NTU scholars to further engage in research mobility between NTU and France. 2024 application is now available until March 15.

Eligibility
NTU current PhD students, Postdoc Researchers, Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors who do not hold a French nationality. 

Application Period and Time Line
Please submit the electronic files of the application form and attachments to chiungfen@ntu.edu.tw by March 15, 2024.

Research Fields
The program is open to scholars of all disciplines and does not have specified academic fields or research topics.

Visiting Period
30 days or 60 days (one or two months) for up to five scholars. The minimum period is 30 visiting days. 

Scholars shall accomplish their visit in French labs (May 15- June 14, October 1- December 15).

Stipend Details

  • A living stipend sponsored by BFT:
    • EUR 1704/month:  Ph.D. students, and Postdoc Researchers who obtained doctorates within 5 years, and Assistant Professors 
    • EUR 2055/month:  Professors and Associate Professors
    • The stipend requires the approval of BFT after review of applications.
  • One round-trip economy class flight ticket between Taiwan and France. 

Important Notice
Scholars are responsible for finding a host professor in France and arrange accommodation during visiting period.
