Lab Introduction

My Laboratory focuses on three main themes: (1) neurodegeneration, (2) pain, and (3) amyloid neuropathy with the following achievements in technology and concepts.
1. Establishing skin biopsy for diagnosis of nociceptive nerve degeneration in small fiber neuropathy
2. Setting up a battery of multi-modality tests for discovering mechanisms underlying chronic nerve injury-induced neuropathic pain, including pathology, physiology, and neuroimaging: contact heat evoked potential (CHEP) and pain-activated functional MRI (fMRI)
3. Investigating genotypes and neurodegeneration pathology of neuropathy in hereditary transthyretin amyloidosis (ATTRv)
