Study Field : Inflammation, Metabolism, Diseases, Drug Development of PARP-1 and AMPK
Forms of Int'l Cooperation : Joint Research Project, Personnel Exchange, Student Exchange, Seminar
Lab Introduction
PARP-1 and AMPK are important cell regulatory molecules involved in various cellular functions. The research team has carried out academic exchanges, personnel exchanges, and cooperation with the leading laboratories from Hungary and France in the research of both molecules, looking forward to understanding their new roles in inflammation, metabolism, and diseases, which provide new insights into drug development. (1) Professor Peter Bai from Debrecen University in Hungary has long been involved in the research work of PARP-1, and he also often serves as one of the sponsors of FEBS course conferences on PARP-1. (2) Dr. Benoit Viollet is the leader of the AMPK research team "Physiopathology of AMPK and AMPK-related protein kinase in diabetes and obesity" at the French INSERM research institute. He is an important founder and promoter of the routine International Meeting on AMPK, which has entered the 12th session this year. Our team also invited him to participate in the conference "Mini-Symposium on AMPK-from Signaling Pathway to Human Disease" held at the National Taiwan University School of Medicine on 2016/11/18.
