Lab Introduction
Our laboratory is dedicated to the long-term study of suspended particles in the environment, including their formation, transformation, and transport in the atmosphere. By investigating the impact of different pollution sources on the environment and human health, we aim to propose effective air quality management strategies. Our laboratory is equipped with various high-precision instruments, including a scanning mobility particle sizer, aerodynamic particle sizer, aethalometer, and various gas monitors. These instruments are integrated into an air quality monitoring station, enabling us to quickly measure different suspended particles in the air and analyze the chemical composition and physical properties, such as particle size, particle density, PM2.5 mass concentration. In addition, our research far reaches spatial transmission analysis of pollutants, including indoor and outdoor air pollution simulations, using satellite remote sensing and computation fluid dynamics. By simulating real pollution environments, we can better study the impact of different factors on air quality and provide better governance strategies.
